Rocking Portugal!
Booked for a wedding in Portugal on 10th September, J Ryan took to the stage much later than other gigs. However, the wedding party were amazing and from the first song (J Ryan's very own 'Every Moment' which was chosen by the happy couple) were enthusiastic about the performance for four hours! Thanks for stopping by. There will be some news from J Ryan soon, but it's all been rather hectic since we arrived in London 5 weeks ago. We will be taking a little break at the end of the month in Spain, followed by a trip to Portugal where J Ryan will be providing the entertainment at our friends' wedding. Thanks for stopping by. So far J Ryan's album has been selling like hotcakes in Nepal, which is great news. The possibility of a tour in the US is currently being discussed with promoters. J Ryan, debut album
It's finished! Yes, J Ryan's debut album "Alone" is now complete and is with the printers at the moment. Initial sales will be in Nepal only. As Nepal does not allow PayPal accounts to be set up for incoming and outgoing payments, we're looking at other ways of setting something up so that the album can be sold via this website and also through CD Baby, Amazon etc.
It's taken a long time to get here, but it was worth it!
Keep coming back here for news on the worldwide release for both digital and CD format. It will happen very soon.

The first four months of 2010
So much has happened this year that we didn't realise we're half way through April already! Apart from getting more airplay on OTC (Off The Chart Radio) - the UK's No.1 internet radio station, Ryan was selected to take part in their competition - OTC's Got Talent. It was based along the lines of Americal Idol, only this was online and the tracks had been recorded in advance. Ryan made it to the quarter finals before being kocked out by one vote. The judges said that they could hear "Lost in the Winter" being played at a festival and they loved "Zoe". They asked Ryan to come back on the final day to talk about his experience in the competition, and also to play another track. Ryan chose a song that is very different from any other the station or anyone else had played to date. "What's Going On" surprised the judges and through various messages via Skype, said they were all very much impressed with Ryan's versatility.
In between power cuts here in Nepal, Ryan's been working towards the completion of his album, and the end is near! The debut album will be called "Alone" and should be completed within the next 4 weeks. Work has already begun on the album cover, etc. Promotional work is also about to begin.
Apart from this, Ryan's been performing twice a week locally and has been drawing the crowds in. He sings an incredible range of genres, from Bryan Adams to Metallica, from Shaggy to Pitbull, from Elton John to Pink Floyd. The list is endless. All backing tracks are totally arranged by Ryan in his studio, leaving him free to sing and play guitar.

Guitar Maestro, Nepal
J Ryan's been chosen to audition to take part as a guest in Guitar Maestro (a kind of American Idol for guitarists in Nepal). He has to play a 5 minute solo on Tuesday 17th September! Watch this space.

It's all happening! 07.03.09
'Zoe' has been in the top 3 of Jamie Nemeth's Unchart Show on Off The Chart Radio (www.offthechartradio.co.uk) for almost 3 months now! The song was also featured on Dee Chapman's show on Radio Gets Wild (www.radiogetswild.com) on 4th March 09.
Ryan's first live gig as a solo artist will take place on Friday 22nd May at 1905, Kantipath, Kathmandu, Nepal. This is really exciting news as there will be quite a lot of media coverage.

Hadn't realised that it's been so long
since any news was put up on the site.....
been very busy, that's why!
Now have a MySpace page, but I really prefer
the idea of having your own website!
Have completed 5 more songs
(one took 24 hours from start to finish!)
and got a few more instrumentals that I've been
working on to complete, then the new stuff will be uploaded.
Watch this space.
Am trying to get a backing band together and
it's really hard at the moment. Had two guys
(nationals of the country I'm currently living in) interested,
but never showed up for their auditions!!
Am working towards a gig in January or February -
everything is sorted, music, media etc,
just need the backing band!!
